I have an expensive 13" tablet with an AMOLED screen that needed the USB port replaced. The problem is that the screen is very fragile and breaks easily, and a new screen costs $400. I wanted to choose the most skilled and experienced technician to work on it, and this guy was exactly that. He had all the necessary and professional tools to perform complicated repairs like that. I know because I checked it myself. Not only did he replace the USB board without damaging the big and expensive AMOLED screen, but he also did this for a fraction of what others wanted to charge me. I was so happy that I gave him a good tip, and it was still less than what other places quoted me. Outstanding guy and highly recommended. A++++.
Great place ! Made time to fix my phone same day ! I also brought my tablet for quote, and he said it wasn't worth fixing because the parts are hard to find, then he gives me free tablet for my son as the original was his. Beyond kind!!!!!!! You will not find better prices, or kinder compassionate person!
This guy had good reviews and is close, but I should have looked at the one stars that mentioned work on phone screens. He was very rude when brought to about a problem. I had a screen fixed by him, and noticed my screen was flashing red at certain times, my phones camera wasn’t detected because of screen but he claimed it was the camera. I asked if it was after market for the screen said he said no. And I had problems with typing ,it was typing its own words. Went back and he said it’s the new software with the phone. Said it very rude while rolling his eyes. I mentioned the screen kept going red and this is not an original I phone screen and kept rolling eyes saying it’s the software, I been doing this 25 years. I trusted it because I paid 100$.Not even two weeks later I drop my phone on my hardwood floor and the screen barely had a crack and the screen went blank n started tweaking out and stoped working. I asked about warranty and he said no on damage. I understand , but if I was acknowledged and not lied about original screen I wouldn’t be surprised. Hardwood floor shouldn’t make a screen comepletely messed up especially my first time dropping it with a screen protector. I went to mk cellphones on Montrose and Narragansett and they mentioned it was an after market screen after all, and if I would like the original for 120$ , I didn’t want to spend 220 total on a screen so I asked for a deal on a new one. Mk cellphones procedure is they ask if you want a good quality I phone screen not play you for a fool like this guy. I wouldn’t be mad but he played me and made me feel I had a genuinely good screen but blamed it on software. Go to mk cellphones on montrose and Narragansett. I got mislead by the stars. For sure with screens in my experience he will try to trick you into thinking it’s a good part by saying he’s been working for 25 years while not making eye contact . Who knows what else he cons people on.
